P3P was my first. And I played as FeMC. I’m heavily biased towards her version of the game. Picking up Reload soon even though that’s not my version of P3.

Zero/ZX Collection is top tier quality, anyone, new players wanting to play the Zero/ZX arcs, or veterans that want to replay them should just go for the collection. I'm still pissed because no new games continuing from the loose ends (Legends 3, X9 and specially ZX3) but credit where credit is due. This collection is absolutely worth it.

Strangely i was waiting to do the remake when i finish off the original but i got impatient so i went ahead and started it.

Holy shit I never even realised p3p added so many gameplay improvements??? It was my first experience with the game and I didn't know so many basic quality of life features weren't there from the start. I think we all focus on the way worse visual changes for obvious reasons, but its worth aknowledging how much good was done here. Bloody hell you couldn't change equips from the menu?? That's nuts lol. (Lack of weapon changing still kinda sucks though. wish that hadn't been kept in later games cos its clear it only happened here to minimize the amount of new animations needed for the femc)

I know this video is old. but the version you should play should you have the ability to do so. Is Final Fantasy 7 on PC. Heavily modded. I have that game looking so good it feels like I'm playing it for the first time. I've never done a playthrough on a game I've beaten before with such a new wide wonder about it.

Pixel remaster is superior, but no GBA content makes me feel like i am playing incompleted version...

Correction to the secondary opening for P3FES, Burn My Dread is still available but only plays after you boot into the title screen and leave it idle for a few seconds. Great video as always and appreciate this guide for any new players out there!

Steam version easy

Sorry, but how can anybody say that the Moguri mod look good? It looks SMEARED. Like a watercolor painting. The original PSX + CRT shaders is how it looks the best.

Trying to figure out the titles of the FF series is a chore in and of itself. Between JP, EU and NA the titles are all over the place.

I found a DS cartridge of Final Fantasy III out in a field when I went out on a bit of a road trip for family related things. Not the case, no one else was there. Just the cartridge. It was perfectly functional, I think I still have it around somewhere

Just wanna say, there's a mod for pc's Sigma1 which makes alot of changes to have it closer to Black. Namely the music gets changed back. It really makes it a difference when playing

The HD Remaster is also on PC Steam now! :D

How do you use patches on gba rom?

Play FES for the true experience. Tactics is the best and makes the game actually challenging. Just mod it with the hd overhaul project

I „enjoyed“ the game on PS5 even tho I had to play it fully guided to obtain all those missable trophies. Was still and adventure! Played everything on hard except for Minerva. She seemed impossible for my skill level… but maybe I was just impatient because I wanted to start Rebirth after Platinum. x) Edit: Also I'm so glad I was told to play this before Rebirth, wouldn’t have Connected to Zack otherwise and it made Remakes Ending and Rebirth so much more… confusing, lol, but also better! Cannot wait for Part 3! :)

My biggest problem with the remake is how it isn't fixed to a grid like the original was. While you could move in 16 directions in the original, you were still snapped to a grid. In the remake, you just fling yourself in any direction. It definitely makes the random doors in Bowser's castle way more of an annoyance.

So the game that was originally designed to be multiplayer just isn’t multiplayer anymore. Got it.

As someone who payed Persona 3 even before many people knew about the franchise or SMT, I still think P3P is by far the best version. It is the most complete and with the most replay time. I lost count on how many times in beat it in my old PSP.
